Message from your Dog Paws Dane Rescue President...
Welcome to a NEW Dane Rescue! I'm so excited to share this new Logo!
My name is Kelley Gaul-Houser and I am thrilled to introduce myself to you. I have 12+ years of experience working with Great Danes. I have a deep passion for these majestic dogs and have dedicated my time and efforts to their rescue and care. And YES that is me above with our 4 Danes of my Pack of 6 kiddos in my home!
I am the Small Business Owner of Dog Paws Boarding Resort, LLC. (a.k.a "The Crib") in Cedar Rapids, IA. This Summer 2023 will mark my third year of owning and operating my DREAM business. As a small boutique Boarding facility I pride myself on providing the highest quality and safety of care to all those who call Dog Paws home!
Owning my own facility has also allowed me to expand my ability to serve as a volunteer with Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue by offering temporary housing for Danes in need. In thinking long-term about how I want to expand and grow Dog Paws I also want to allow my passion for Danes to "Dream without limits"! Thus, I am in the process of establishing a registered 501(c)3 for Dog Paws Dane Rescue! Stay tuned for lots more updates to come including the Introduction of the Board, release of our Mission and Vision statements, surrender process and more!
